These sandals are made for feet that need the pressure taken off the joint at the base of the big toe. The strap layout leaves that area free rather than crossing over it, and the footbed is soft enough to absorb the shock that normally travels straight up through the heel. The upper is elastic, so it gives where the foot is widest instead of forcing it into shape, which matters if one foot is broader than the other. Underneath is an anti-slip sole, and every size is shown in both Australian and European measurements.
