This chiffon maxi is built for the events that fill an Australian summer: weddings, races, the long lunches in between. The V-neckline is draped rather than cut flat, the waist is pleated and gathered to define the middle, and the skirt falls full to the floor from there. Sheer flutter sleeves cover the top of the arm without adding heat, which is the detail that makes it wearable in December. It needs heels and very little else.
